Competition Premise
I designed a ski topsheet for RMU's new Apostle 106 ski, featuring a robed figure in prayer holding rosary beads. The beads double as a Mountain Time Lager bottle opener, with additional winter emblems. This design subtly blends illustration, leisure, and "praying for snow.’ Perhaps too subtly, because I didn’t win the contest hosted by RMU and New Belgium. However, I did receive an honorable mention and ultimately, came up with a design that represents my personal style.

Artist Statement
My graphic style is characterized by a bold graphic presence and a fluid pile of linework. The design serves as a commentary on the church, incorporating religious iconography into a fun and irreverent context. The composition as a whole is fluid and balanced, with each element working together to create a cohesive and visually striking piece. Through my use of strong graphic elements, bright colors, and a bold conceptual approach, I created a design that is both thought-provoking and beautiful.
