Scope


Orion Spaceway is an ambitious identity system project aimed at revolutionizing space travel by connecting everyday space-workers to other worlds through a system that is accessible, environmentally mindful, and efficient. The brand seeks to promote exploration and adventure while addressing the need for sustainability and responsible use of resources.


The scope of the project encompassed various elements, including app design, wayfinding, passes, and ship design. We worked collaboratively as a team of designers, with myself, Logan Crowley, and Aria Pratt, to create a cohesive and engaging identity system that would resonate with our target audience and reflect the brand's values.







  


















Strategy


To convey the brand's unique vision and identity, we relied heavily on illustration as the primary form of visual communication, as it provided a more flexible and versatile medium that aligned well with our aesthetic. This allowed us to create a distinctive visual language that conveyed the excitement and wonder of space travel while also highlighting the brand's commitment to sustainability and innovation.















In Summary


Our goal was to create a visual identity that not only reflected the brand's unique vision but also conveyed its commitment to making space travel accessible to everyone. Through our use of illustration and a carefully crafted visual language, we were able to achieve a cohesive and engaging identity system that captured the essence of the Orion Spaceway brand.
