Standing Dead Carpentry
The Process
The term “standing dead” refers to trees that have died and dried but not yet fallen over. This makes them ideal for wood selection because they begin to rot when on the ground. Taking this idea, I developed the concepts seen below for skeletal attributes interwoven with a “standing dead” tree.
